Lichgate Tallahassee Wedding | Amy & Rienne

Amy & Rienne said their vows under the immensity of the giant live oak in Tallahassee on July 25th, 2020. The ceremony was intimate and socially distanced with their most beloved there as witnesses.

Amy and I met in library school at the Florida State University. We immediately hit it off and have been there for many of each other's life changes. We both held the same internship at the FSU Library in Florence, Italy just a year apart! It was so special for me to be trusted to capture her and Ren's wedding day.

We started the day with getting ready shots at the family's hotel room. From there, we drove to the ceremony location, the beautiful Lichgate on High Road. After the ceremony, we took the time to explore Lichgate while taking family photos and portraits of the bride and groom.

Once we were sufficiently worn down from the July heat, we headed to Sage Restaurant for a wedding brunch. The employees greeted us in masks (we wore them too) and took us to our private room. With such a small group we were able to talk about our favorite moments from the wedding, memories, and how delicious the food was. The newlyweds opened gifts, danced, and cut the cake together. It was a beautiful celebration in such strange times. Congratulations Amy & Ren!
